I co-led the rebranding of a major Polish computer and gaming accessory brand, informed by research, and innovated with video formats in new social media content strategies.

MY ROOM, MY RULES

“Pokój Gracza” symbolizes your own safe space, a space you control, a space in which you can be yourself and of course let others in, if you wish so. This campaign aims to promote self-expression – it’s about creating your space, finding your voice and your community, on your terms. It’s your room and your rules.

One of the campaign’s main objectives was to standardize branding and enhance brand awareness. The new communication concept involves shifting the target audience towards a younger demographic, entry-level PC gamers, and their guardians seeking support in choosing their first or second gaming computer. We have prepared a new communication and content marketing strategy that combines entertainment with education and raises awareness of technical knowledge and PC component selection.

Here’s a breakdown of my involvement in the HIRO rebranding campaign.

GOALS

  • Assess the HIRO brand’s current positioning within its target audience.
  • Analyze competitors’ products and marketing communications, identify weaknesses, and define HIRO USPs.
  • Develop a refined target audience profile.
  • Strengthen, refresh, and unify the brand image, with a focus on new audiences.
  • Create a new communication and content marketing strategy.
  • Establish regular video content production and distribution across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram..

SCOPE OF MY WORK

  • Conducted market research on HIRO brand customers through Google Forms combined with targeted social media advertising and the client’s internal mailing system.
  • Conducted internal interviews with client’s employees to gather needed insightful data for new communication strategies.
  • Developed integrated content marketing and social media strategies.
  • Co-created an essential brand manual for coherent visual identity.
  • Collaborated with content creators on video and graphic development, providing guidance on topics, art direction, script revisions, advertising slogans, graphic text, and editing feedback to ensure high quality and alignment with the communication strategy.
  • Managed targeted Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns, focusing on brand awareness and engagement.
  • Provided remote coordination and design support for the Pokój Gracza HIRO rebranding launch at Poznań Game Arena 2024.
  • Cultivated and managed online community engagement through tailored content, moderation, active conversations, and social media contests.
  • Conducted continuous competitive market research to strategically highlight HIRO product advantages.
